The West Johnston High School Band Program is more than music. It is a place where students learn discipline, teamwork, leadership, responsibility, and pride through performance. From the classroom to the football field, from concert stages to competitive arenas, our students represent West Johnston High School with excellence, dedication, and heart.

Our program includes Marching Band, Color Guard, Winter Guard, Winter Percussion, Jazz Band, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Beginning Band, and other performance opportunities throughout the year. Each part of the program gives students a chance to grow as musicians, performers, leaders, and young adults.

The West Johnston Band Program is built on hard work, commitment, and community support. Students are challenged to give their best while learning the value of preparation, accountability, and working together toward a common goal.

Whether performing at football games, competing across North Carolina and beyond, supporting school events, or participating in community performances, our students proudly represent the Wildcat spirit.
