Band Parent Association (BPA)
The West Johnston High School Band Parent Association (BPA) is a nonprofit organization made up of dedicated parents, guardians, family members, alumni, and supporters who work together to support the success and growth of the band program. The BPA serves as a vital partnership between families, students, directors, and the community by providing volunteer support, fundraising assistance, logistical coordination, and program advocacy throughout the year.
Our mission is to enhance the educational and performance experiences of all band students by helping provide resources, equipment, transportation, meals, uniforms, scholarships, and support for performances, competitions, camps, and special events. Through teamwork, communication, and community involvement, the BPA helps create a positive and encouraging environment where students can grow musically, academically, and personally.
From marching band season to concert ensembles, Winter Guard, Winter Percussion, and beyond, the Band Parent Association plays an active role in helping our students and directors achieve excellence while building lifelong memories and strong community connections.
As a parent or legal guardian of a student involved with the band program, you are eligible to be a member of this non-profit organization.
