Winter guard is a dance-based activity that involves spinning different equipment - flags, rifles and sabres. While our guard students perform with the marching band in the Fall, in the Winter (Nov-April) the season is all about just them!

Our Winter Guard program consists of two groups - our Varsity and JV groups. Our Varsity Group is an auditioned group that competes at Winter Guard International (WGI) and Atlantic Indoor Association (AIA) Competitions in Mid February through Mid April.

Our JV Group is for McGees Middle, Cleveland Middle (Slated for West) and West Johnston High School students. The group performs at AIA competitions along with at least one WGI trip a season.
